Community Discussions: Opportunities and Alternatives

Every voice matters! Please join us during community discussions on the future of the Redding Riverfront area. There are multiple ways you can participate and share your comments and ideas:

Sign Up to Attend a Community Workshop

The Project Team will be hosting interactive in-person workshops that will provide community members an opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the Redding Riverfront Specific Plan process.
  • Learn about the Vision and Guiding Principles Framework and major findings from the Existing Conditions Analysis.
  • Discuss and share ideas on emerging opportunities and alternatives for the Northern and Southern Riverfront areas.
  • Review ways you can stay involved in the project.

Each workshop will have an identical format, including community exercises and discussion opportunities. We are asking community members who would like to attend to sign up for one of the two workshops through the RSVP links below. This will help us prepare materials and refreshements. If you are not able to RSVP, you may still attend a workshop and you will be accomodated. We want to make sure everyone has a chance to provide their feedback and ideas.

Both workshops will be held at the Redding Civic Auditorium, 700 Auditorium Drive.

Take the Online Survey

The Project Team is also developing an online survey that will allow community members to view workshop materials and provide detailed comments. The survey will mirror the content of the workshops and is scheduled to be launched on June 15th.
