Over the past several months, the City's project team has prepared a draft Vision Framework Diagram and a series of emerging concepts for both the Northern and Southern Riverfronts.

As part of the ongoing effort to update the City’s Riverfront Specific Plan, the City will be holding meetings in May to review and discuss the emerging concepts being considered for the plan with both the community and City Council.

On January 16, 2024, the City Council discussed and provided direction on a draft Vision and Guiding Principles Framework for the Redding Riverfront Specific Plan.
